About.
Wizz Kidd is a one-man content agency run by Iain Griffin. I am based in Northampton UK and work globally with people and businesses to create, improve and manage their content.
Using my own set of principles, I create content, advise on content strategy and train people how to create and manage content for themselves.
I believe content matters. It’s the reason you’re online. Good content means happy visitors. It can save you time and money. It can reach a wide or niche audience. Either depends upon why you’re online of course.
I focus only on content and communications and leave the rest to more talented designers and developers. Sure I can build you a website using modern tools and tech, but I prefer to make the one you have sing.
So, if you’re looking to improve your website, thinking about going mobile, or tying to talk to more people using social media, I can help. Start by reading my content principles to point you in the right direction. And if you need to know more, I’m always at your service.
Me.
Hello, as you can see, I work with content as a strategist, manager and producer. I’ve been online since 1999 and have published something, somewhere most days since. My background is media and communications. I’m an award-winning interactive producer, which is why I prefer dealing with web content rather than code.
I work with words, images, audio and video to write, edit and publish. My content is seen on websites, apps, social media profiles and e-newsletters. I’ve managed several high-profile websites over the years. The audience, industry and purpose have differed, so has the content.
From news and entertainment at the BBC, to showcasing students’ portfolios at a university, service delivery and transactions for a local authority and sales and marketing for a small e-commerce business, I’ve done it all.
I’ve not only worked online, I’ve spent time as a journalist, radio producer, event manager and lecturer. My background means I’ve broad experience to draw upon. Take a look at my portfolio for more.
Doing business.
I run an agency I’d like to do business with. It starts with top notch customer service, it continues with honest, straightforward contracts and ends with clear, transparent fees. There are no minimum charges or binding time-lengths. You’re the customer. I aim to please. I give every project I work on my all. To me, you’re more than an invoice number, your project is my reputation. We both have an interest in seeing it succeed.
I'm honest.
I'll tell you the truth, no matter what. Sorry if you're not used to it, but I feel it's the best way. If I don't, your customers will and by then it's too late.I'm hardworking.
I'm here to do a job. I do it because I love it. If I take a project on, it's because it excites me, not because it pays well. The reward comes from the satisfaction.I'm skillful.
I'm not one to blow my own trumpet, but I've been doing this for a while. I've learnt from some of the best in the business and picked up the rest the hard way; practice!I'm friendly.
My mother taught me well. Please and thank you goes a long way. Sure, I have bad days, but I won't take it out on you. It's service with a smilieI'm dedicated.
Your project is my reputation. We both have an interest in seeing it succeed. You've employed me to do something, god damn I'll do it. Whatever it takes.I'm fair.
You're no schmuck, I know that. You know the price of good service, and so do I. I respect my clients and know you'll respect me. It's how I do business.
